Pictured is Emi (Precious) and Chloe (Fergie) from our third litter.
Hi, Cathy,
I just wanted to tell you what a joy Emi has been for us. She is 9 months old now, and such a good girl. She has kept our spirits lifted during this cold and snowy winter.
I've wanted you to see her before she has her first real haircut which won't be until spring. Now, she just gets a trim around the face which works fine while it is so cold out. However, being black she gets too hot when the weather is warm. Emi looks like such a character. She has brown eyebrows, moustache, and beard. My beautician (she cuts John's hair too) teases that she looks like John.
We have had such good laughs from the puppies playing with Sarah's kids. Especially Ella who was two when we got them. She says she has two puppies and she thinks Emi is hers, too. I've never seen dogs as gentle as these around children. Ella can take food from them and they just accept it. I've never heard them growl even once at Ella or the other children.
Needless to say, Sarah and I believe we were blessed when we found these puppies.

Being out of dog treats and late at night, I had to find a recipe with ingredients that I had in my pantry. These were really fun to make!
1 cup of flour
1 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 corn starch
1/4 cup oil
1 Tbsp baking powder
2 Tbsp cinnamon
Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Made 2 1/2 dozen large cookie balls.
And the verdict was....

Paris was sold to Ann from Minneapolis in December 2008. We also had to fight the weather so the two could unite. It was a nasty December!
Good Morning,
Attached are a couple of pictures of Marley (Paris). She is doing well and loving the life of a puppy. Bailey and Marley are in separable. We go for daily walks and generally have a great little life.
We have been back to the Vet since and have gotten clearance on the heart murmur. They believe she out grew it which is fantastic.
We are doing pretty well at potty training; she loves playing in the back yard and can get a little distracted.
How are things with you?

Tory, Steve and Teddy long awaited Patches, who flew from Sioux Falls to Boston. We had multiple flight delays and overbookings to contend with! Below are some email excerpts on how Patches is doing.
I still have the videos in my favorites J
She is VERY happy and content! Teddy has adjusted so well
to having her here, too…he licks her face almost every morning! And we
had Steve’s cousin, wife, and their 11 month old daughter over for dinner the
other night and Sophie would run up to her, lick her face really quick,
and then run away – it was so cute! I could go on and on about the cute
stuff she does, such a character. As I type she is racing around the
living room with my sister’s Shihpoo while Teddy sits on my lap like ‘Sissy is
crazy’.
I’m glad that your experiences with the litter were positive –
I’d love to see pics of the other two if you have them…just curious if Sophie
looks like them at all J
Thanks for thinking of us.
I was just thinking of you the other day when I heard that song!
She is doing awesome J she got groomed for the first time a couple
days ago and the groomer said she did pretty well. She’s 9.5 pounds now,
and in really good shape. She can jump up on our bed and the couch
without help (she used to cry) and just 2 days ago she lost all of her front
teeth! The new ones are coming in but for now she’s gumming everything J
Here’s a couple recent-ish pictures…she doesn’t stay still very
often!
How are Paris and Mr. Waggles?

Litter of Lhasa Poo puppies were born 10/27/08 and will be available for purchase beginning 12/8/08. Click here for live footage of these adorable designer puppies!
Early viewing is acceptable and a $150 deposit will hold your puppy should you be interested, as these darlings are going to go fast!
We have begun weaning according to teeth breakthrough and paper training. They are currently a day shy from five weeks and are ready for ground Ime's puppy food with water. Today they devoured the dish but still enjoy slurps of mom's breast-milk. As a nurse I believe that the mom's breast milk and immunity for as long as they can enjoy it are essential to their health; thus my slow wean from mom over this next week versus a complete cut off from her milk at three to four weeks of age and using replacement milk. As a breeder since 1991, I've never had a complaint about my puppy weaning or readiness for a home! I only raise socially adapt and ready for you puppies!

Description: A Lhasapoo is a Poodle hybrid that has been cross bred with a Lhasa Apso. The Poodle has been used as the base of "hybrid" breeding stock for decades due to its low to non shedding quality and high intelligence and plays a big role in today's current designer dog trend. Hybrids are the offspring of two recognized purebred dogs of different breeds. Their lineage can be easily traced, unlike that of a mutt or mongrel, and their characteristics and appearance are much more predictable. Cross breading of two purebred dogs, resulting in the hybrid vigor, results in a healthier dog with superior genetic composition, thus eliminating the purebred common genetic disorders.
Disposition: Highly intelligent yet mischievously creative, sweet and affectionate lapdogs that will give their heart to you.
As puppies, they will want to be held alot and have you within their line of sight. Their personality is comparable to the Chihuahua as they very much love to be pampered and spoiled. They love to sleep next to you...I just traded my queen size bed for a king to fit us all in! They will want to go with you when you leave, and if you can't take them with, they will stare out the window until you return. Leave for just three seconds only to return to a greeting as though you had been gone for three days! They greatly enjoy going for rides in the vehicle with you, even if it's just around the block and back.
They are very much a guard dog, but with much less hyperactivity or "yipping" as the Poodle. They act tougher than they really are. They bark big but no bite. They get a long well with other dogs in the family. This breed is good for allergy sufferers, as it can be hypoallergenic. Low to no shedding.
Their hair is on the long side, some more curly than others. Hair can be left long but needs brushing, or can be groomed. They like to be a "glamour" dog, so go ahead and put on that neck scarf or barrette!
Type: Companion.
Training: Easier to train than Lhasa Apso parents due to their higher intelligence.
Learning: High to very intelligent, sometimes too clever.
